Innovation and Regulation for the Blockchain Industry Panel:
Tom Trowbridge, Nick Chong, Tra Vu - Joon Pak (moderator)
This is the first meetup for the Philadelphia Hashgraph Meetup group. We will be doing a deep dive on 'what is hashgraph'? This will serve as an introduction to Hedera Hashgraph distributed ledger technology for anyone interested in learning more.
The Hedera18 Hackathon is the first global, decentralized hashgraph hackathon, gathering developers to compete in eight cities around the world: Dallas, San Francisco, London, Paris, Bangalore, Moscow, Singapore, and Tel Aviv.
Teams consisting of up to ten participants will compete in this two-day hackathon, building next-generation decentralized applications that showcase the power of Hedera Hashgraph’s practical micropayment functionality.
Winners will be awarded a combination of cash and Hedera tokens, and the potential to have your project incubated and deployed on the Hedera Hashgraph public network.
Join us for Hedera18, the inaugural hashgraph developer conference, featuring our first global, decentralized hackathon across eight cities. Join thousands of developers, architects, and industry experts in-person and online to learn more about Hedera Hashgraph, the world’s fastest, most secure, and fairest public distributed ledger.
As an attendee, you’ll gain access to educational sessions presented by the Hedera team, industry experts, and ecosystem developers, where you’ll learn how to build a new class of decentralized applications. There’s plenty of opportunities to network with your peers and have a lot of fun. All conference attendees will be able to earn up to 4,000 Hedera tokens by participating in specific activities at Hedera18.
Join us on Thursday, October 18th for PIZZA & DRINKS at our latest Chicago Hashgraph meetup!
Hedera's Director of Technical Partnerships, Kyle Armour, will be presenting about the Hedera platform, governance, and holding an open Q&A. Afterwards we will hold a social hour for networking and discussion.
